Do they have any other RP series speakers on sale? Where did you find it? I don't see it in their weekly ad.

Looking for RP-8000F or bookshelf RP-600 and 500s.

Search for Trusted Name Brand Speaker, there's a few deals on Klipsch, the RP-8060FA and maybe the RP-6000F, haven't checked it fully

Can somebody compare klipsch reference series and their reference premier ones? To be more specific, how about rf82ii $200, rp5000 $187, and rp6000 $250? Thans

Does anyone know why Fry's would not give the speaker brand name rather keep it secret and not even provide a upc number? Sorry to ask this since I haven't bought from Fry's before and the reviews were not that promising. Any head's up?

Because they don't want Klipsch to know their products are discounted that much.

In the world of consumer electronics, there are multiple prices that manufacturers provide: MSRP, MAP, Invoice, Program Price.

Invoice - Small retailers and mom and pops will pay this price or slightly under.

Program price - Large retailers get customized program prices and larger markdowns.

MSRP - self explanatory

MAP - Minimum advertised price. Most of the time you see MSRP crossed out and the marked down price is the MAP price. Fry's is probably pricing the speakers well below MAP so they technically aren't supposed to be advertising it as such.
