Dont forget save15 code. takes $60 off. Like $989.99 before tax and $350 in points. Looks good? Almost $300 cheaper than this past deal. https://slickdeals.net/f/13133863-dell-g7-15-7590-laptop-intel-core-i7-9750h-15-6-1080p-ips-144hz-16gb-ddr4-256gb-ssd-1tb-hdd-rtx-2060-thunderbolt-3-win-10-1291-14-ac-free-shipping-dell?src=SiteSearch

These perpetual alerts for "Dell on Rakuten" are becoming rather nuisance.Every other day they have 15% off or points back and these deals pop up with similar prices or a few bucks less. There should a single thread for all these posts. Mods should look in.

There is no such thing as a Max-Q 2060.

No Max Q, Just remember if you buy this to turn off the battery saver function in the Nvidia app. I'm getting solid framerates from this, minimal throttling. All manufacture should have one screw access to internals.

Why no decent deals like this on the Dell XPS 15.. All I see are deals on gaming laptops. I need a productivity machine without these ridiculous RGB lights and bulky exteriors Frown

If you use the SAVE15 ($60 off) coupon the cash back in points becomes $230.

I bought the Dell G5 5590 with the 144hz display, 1660ti & Intel 9th gen, 8gb RAM, 256gb NMVE, 1tb HDD for $1200 plus $280 in Rakuten points. $920; then I upgrade the ram to 32gbs and 1tb NVME which is faster than the one Dell provided. Bought a Xbox wireless adapter and dual external HDD caddy. Oh & a Mini DisplayPort cable AND adapter. (ALL upgrades & accessories paid with the Rakuten points.)

Because the xps 15 throttles like a bitch most likely. I had it and sold it eventually. Kept dropping my CPU from 3.2ghz to 0.8ghz and keeping it there during Adobe premiere use and photoshop. Forget light gaming, 0.8ghz by 5 minutes of play.

I'd like a 4k or at least a 2k screen. That's why I'm trying to get the XPS 15.

Sorry for your abundance of choice.
I usually limit my alerts to a few specific models. Helps with the alert burnout
