PC gamers take note: Overcooked currently free on Epic Games Store

It's not on this list, but I picked up Burnstar for a buck and I've been impressed so far. It's like Bomberman as a puzzle game. It feels very polished - definitely a few steps up from the typical shovelware you see at that price.

Alternative to what the other response you got said: you can buy eShop cards which are like gift cards for the Nintendo eShop download games. That way your grandchildren can choose what game(s) they want.

So how do the downloads work? I am not at all familiar with them. You can't really give them as a gift, right? I am thinking grand children.

You can't buy a game on the eShop to give as a gift directly, no.

If you want to gift a digital game, you would need to buy a digital copy via a 3rd party retailer (Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, etc). Depending on the situation, you may get a cardboard card with a redemption code on it, or an email with the redemption code in it.

Then you would give that code to whomever, and they would redeem it on their eShop account for the game.

This would only work if you log in with their Nintendo account to purchase the item or if you buy a digital code from a site like Amazon. The Nintendo Eshop purchases will be linked to the purchaser's account.

I feel bad for anyone buying Nine Parchments when it's NOT on sale. That game is on sale like every other two weeks.

Totally. Don't be the fool that pays more that 66 cents per parchment

You've probably heard already, but Axiom Verge is really good. If you like Metroid, you need to play it.
