Wow! Great deal! I bought mine refurbed from Bose via eBay over a year ago for i believe $280 and they've been perfect. Might pick up a second pair for this price!

There's very little difference between I and II - just a Google Assistant/Alexa integration and an additional button for noise-cancellation switching.

I've heard that Bose Renewed, like Apple's, are basically as good as new, so if $50 matters to you more than these features, it could be a good deal.

Apple refurbs get a new battery and outer shell. Looks like Bose just "inspects" and remanufactured as necessary.

Just a button on one side that can be configured to trigger Siri/Google Assistant or control the level and on/off of noise cancellation. Not something I have ever found useful so Ive stuck with the I.

I don't understand how this is a good deal... I picked up a gen 2 NON refurb with full warranty for $250 which seems to be a pretty standard price now.... $50 less for prior gen, albeit basically the same headphone BUT refurb, no thanks

QC35 1st Gen has lot of bugs. It gets turned on automatically and drains the battery. There are thousands of ppl crying on this issue, which bose could not resolve. So, better be away from this model Smilie

They're also inspected more thoroughly than brand new machines so you are essentially guaranteed something that's problem free and brand spanking new in virtually all respects.

These are still non-replaceable batteries, right? Not that great of a price for Gen 1 units just for having older batteries in them.

This is the same price I paid 5 years ago for the Bose Soundlink headphones which are basically the same as the Quietcomfort but without noise cancelling. Still working great. Just the right amount of bass without drowning out the mids. Not sure I really need noise cancelling anyway.

Massgenie, I was very hesitant but all worked out and I was able to register the headphones on the Bose website without issue.... yes full manufacturers warranty
