I saw a deal on the 77c9p go front-page via NewEgg/GameLiquidations which isn't an authorized LG dealer so I made an offer on Greentoe to see if anyone in the GT network would do that deal. It got accepted right away! Authorized LG dealer (one that people on here know well), full LG USA warranty and free shipping!

I was comparing the other sizes and got prices on those. Here is what I got countered with:

65c9pua - $2289
55c9pua - $1599

Title is wrong. You have the part number for a 77" OLED, not 65"

Unless LG plans to make next year's panel significantly brighter, I think this is the one to buy. I'm gonna wait until next year for these to start moving at clearance prices -- assuming stock doesn't completely vanish because of others like me

Good source for all the details you need:

C8 vs C9:

The LG C9 and LG C8 OLED are extremely similar overall. The C9 we tested had less temporary image retention, but this varies between units, and might not be indicative of the full lineup. The biggest difference between these TVs is the inputs. The C9 has 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs, which for the moment, doesn't add much, if anything at all. Once there are HDMI 2.1 sources, the C9 should support a 4k @ 120 Hz input, even at full chroma. The C9 also supports eARC and supports the HDMI 2.1 variable refresh rate technology, which is currently only supported by the Xbox One.
