People that worry about "audio out" on projectors shouldnt own one...

Well not everyone owns a receiver that supports it is the issue. I carry mine around to events so having audio out would be important considering not every home or venue you go to will have an HDMI receiver while every venue will have the ability to plug in an audio cable or a home having a spare speaker lying around.

People that jump to conclusions with their judgmental opinions shouldn't have one...

Looks like a nice deal on a good LCD projector. BestBuy lists 2 years parts & labor warranty, which is nice for a refurb. Might be good to look into which credit card may extend warranty by another year or so.

Looks like it has the original manufacturer's warranty, which Epson is known for having the best warranties among projectors.

I use a HDMI splitter to extract the audio. Also lets me quickly switch between an AppleTV and a Steam Link.

Been waiting awhile for a 3LCD deal. To replace an aging DLP. Is the 2 year warranty good or should I get the BB warranty for 4 yrs? not sure if it covers the bulb.

I have had this projector for about a year and it is great. No complaints and I know that when I need to replace the bulb it is only $49.

Depends on the use. I have a similar model with an audio out I use for outdoor movies and sports. Unfortunately my backyard hasn't been wired for surround sound, however, no one has ever complained about the speakers I use...

I was debating between the 2 but went with the 1060 because I'd rather have the extra lumens (it's going to be an outdoor projector)
