BBC radio dramatisation was pretty good. Think this is it:

I have never read it(I know, what am I doing with my life?) and only saw the movies for the first time a few years back. I recently got back into reading thanks to Ender's Game and realized this is something I needed to get! Now I just need a good deal on Harry Potter and the rest of the Enderverse books and I'm set for a while! Thanks for posting! Thumb'ed up & Rep'd!

What's the difference between the Google play version and Kindle version? I just recently bought my 1st Kindle a few days ago. Is that a better reading device than the android tablet?

I never read or seen the movies. I don't think I would want to read this. I would listen to the audio book.
Audiobook is pretty solid on LOTR. Never read this (have it in Kindle and leather bound, will read when I get old and have less distractions) but completed this and Hobbit on Audible.

This is a great, if a bit slow at times, read. Plan on needing 2 weeks full time to read it. Around 1500 pages. A steal for $3.
