Lowe's has a Chamberlain wall mount garage door opener (RJO20) for 40% off. Definitely YMMV

I love mine. When they work! I've had the lock crap out twice and the main board once but I still think they are the coolest.

I don't see this deal anywhere, not in Lowe's.com or brickseek. Is it only localized, or has the sale passed?

If I could give you 100 reps, I would.

I have been waiting to find a deal on one of these for a looooong time as I am installing new doors in literally two weeks. I need them as I am converting the doors to be able to install a car lift in my garage.

This deal is a FANTASTIC price. I just ordered two of them for less than the cost of one unit from the garage door installers (Used a 10% off too.)

THANK YOU OP!!!

$236.52 each, plus tax

edit: I should add that I can only pray to the Lowe's inventory gods that they don't magically disappear before I can pick them up in a couple days.

These are side mount, direct drive units that connect to the cross pipe that holds the torsion springs.

No chains, cables, belts or tracks and the units is out of the way of everything. More of a commercial design

I got the liftmaster 8500. Looks same as this, same function. Absolutely love it. So much more headroom when the door is down. Much less noisy. Wouldn't get any other type of opener.

However you need to make sure you have power where you need it. Most houses are built to have the garage door opener in the standard place. Power and remote wire may have to be re-routed. Even if that's the case it's worth it!

Bought two with the 10% off. Glad I held out. Anyone who installed this themselves, was it easy? I'm pretty handy at this kinda stuff so I don't think it'll be a problem without requiring special tools

I installed the 8500 myself it looks just like this. I think it probably took several hours, none of it was difficult but I did have to install a new outlet myself for it as I had no power near the unit. Instructions were very good and the unit is so quiet people always ask me about it if they ever see it in action.

My goal is to some day install a high lift track and get a car lift in as well. But that's just fantasizing, it works great too bad I can't find a deal on this nearby because my little garage door needs one.

Nice price but I'm jealous of the ones that are getting it for $167. Super slick.
