I made a stand for my son (for the cheaper Ferrari wheel/pedals) from a Walmart desk a couple years ago. I posted it on SD put didn't get any response at all so not sure if anyone else tried it. I'll try to find it and repost here for anyone who's interested.

I'm trying to decide on a wheel for Xbox. I was looking at this before and the G920 combos but I haven't tried either one so I don't know what people like better.

I have the tmx pro and love the thing! 3 pedals and the shifter makes for great racing on forza 7! Works well with pc too!

Wow, a wheel/pedal setup that is cheaper than a stand. Most casual players probably don't care about a clutch any way.

I know it's juvenile, but I just can't get over the name "thrustmaster". Wish they would rename these something else.

yes, but be warned. i was playing forza and was hungry so i was on autopilot while snacking on some hot pockets. some guy jumped in front of me and triggered my auto emergency braking. almost pissed my pants and dropped larva hot pockets and burned my crotch. yes, i was playing nude. shave a few pounds for quicker lap time.

What game are you using it for?
I have the G920 and I use it with Horizon 3/4 but it's a gimmick. Totally undrivable. I haven't used the G920 in Motorsport yet (I don't really play that anymore). but I had a Thrustmaster 458 with force feedback that I used in FM5 and it was also not that fun (but drivable).

In any case I was nowhere near as competitive with a wheel as I was with the controller, especially in online racing.

I would also say you absolutely need a racing chair setup (which I have) if you're going to use the pedals, though I would also say it's nothing more than a gimmick in any case for Forza, unless all you do is rivals which maybe then it might work. I haven't tried it in Project Cars.

Ah man, this is tempting. I really enjoy FH4 but dislike steering with a thumbstick, it feels so imprecise.

Unfortunately I play on the couch, and can't play often enough to justify dropping even more on a stand...

You will hate FH4 with a wheel. I promise you that.

BTW, I know it sounds like I don't like this deal but this is by far the best price I've ever seen on a wheel with force feedback and pedals. I paid $200 for my G920 (which did come with a shifter but...). For people looking into trying it I can't think of a better time than now with this price, and who knows. Maybe eventually they'll make FH4 not suck with a wheel.
