How is this one different from the latest release of Anker 30W Power IQ 3.0 USB C Charger, PowerPort III mini($30)? I know the IQ 3 is latest technology by Anker but how's the 30W different in output? TIA

30 watt isn't enough for a laptop or chromebook. Recommend Monoprice #21674. Single USB C PD 45 watt under $10 on sale. For my Samsung Chromebook Pro I've had great success with these for over a year of daily use. One hour charging , no heat noise. Has not caused RF interference. Does not heat my battery or overcharge unlike
their popular 60w four port desktop which I also own which does produce some heat and noise. There are some new Obsidian Plus wall warts with two C-PD ports. As always with PD be sure to check the multiple voltages and amperage used by your device. Any PD charger used must offer all of the voltages for optimum performance. A charger which offers above and beyond is fine as it will not output a voltage the device does not negotiate or call for.

edit: I've also used with success the more compact #24426 with hybrid ports. For my Samsung phones without PD I prefer using the oem quick charger which is the safest and smallest I've found.

Power IQ is a joke.
How so?

Also, will any of these companies ever start making QC4 chargers?

It's not even 30w in the PD port - it's 18w on PD (9v * 2a) and 12w max on the USB-A.

Nektech offers low priced USB-IF Certified products. Slickdeals seems to be paid by Anker to block even the correct spelling of the brand name. Replace h with k.

I believe you are mistaken. That's the PowerPort PD2.

The OP's link goes to the Powerport Speed+ Duo, which is 9V*3A, making it 30W.

Ravpower had a nice one on sale for $20 for a 60w PD one. Do a quick search. You also got a USB-C to Lightning cable with that deal.

Too bad the 15V has only 2A output, a Nintendo Switch needs 2.6A in TV mode.
The 60W version can do that, price is not very competitive with a USB-C adapter comes with MacBook Pro.

I grabbed 2 of them from Walmart at the $7 price back in early June.

Edit: Correction, the ones I picked up were the PowerPort PD II. This is the PowerPort Speed+ Duo.

I was actually coming here to mention power iq 3.0

The power iq 3.0 allows you to charge older iOS devices as full speed using the pd port.

Some older iOS devices would charge very slowly via pd, so you had to have a usb a cable to charge them instead of using the usb c to lightning cable.

With power iq 3.0 you can use the usb c to lightning to power all generations that support 2.4 amp charging or full PD for newer phones and tablets.
