Is there anything at that store that's actually worth it?

Partner and I don't have kids or pets, nor a separate freezer to store large quantities of food in. The only non-perishable stuff we've ever looked at there is maybe pennies cheaper than buying it from Target, etc.

As far as I've been able to tell, the only value to a membership there is if you live close by and they have a gas station that's significantly cheaper than the rest in the area. Am I missing something obvious? Or do our circumstances just mean there's really nothing there that makes it a worthwhile investment?

Hey. This deal/offer is only for a free Online membership at BJ's allowing one to get exclusive deals/discounts to BJ's members that are sold online. Sometimes they have good discounts on various third party gift cards online. They may have some other good deals during the week of Amazon Prime Day.

If you already knew that and just asking in general, I think one major benefit to shopping in store at BJ's is being able to use manufacturer coupons along with BJ's coupons for the same product, which is nice esp when the some products are already cheaper than elsewhere.

Not looking down on you but I prefer the old-school 3D versions.
You wouldn't be looking down you'd be looking up

I live about 1 mile from mine. Its pretty much the only place I get gas as it usually is close to 10 cents a gallon or more cheaper. Their meats are much higher quality and better prices than the local supermarkets. Most everything there tends to be 10% or more cheaper, and some items are in larger quantities. 2 dozen Egglands Best eggs runs $4 79 there, where Kroger, Target, etc. are about $2.59-2.79 a dozen on average, for example.

If you're into organic foods, BJs has good prices on organic produce, organic OJ, organic pasta, organic sugar, organic frozen vegetables and fruit. Also, it has good prices on antibiotic/hormone free chicken and pork.

Other than that, I don't find their prices that great. Amazon, Walmart, Shoprite and Target sale prices are usually better.

I worked there for 4 years. The only benefit is the gas honestly.
