Where's the 20% off coupon? Or is it account specific?

*Edit: Ahh, when I actually logged into my amazon account I do see the 20% off coupon.

This is a targeted offer, not available for all accounts. OP I'd suggest adding targeted to your title

Looks pretty good despite its spec is not the best.

I will grab one to use as game install drive in addition to MP510 as primary drive. Thanks OP!

How does it compare with the similarly priced Sabrent drives (also gets hot)? At least this one comes with a heat spreader.

Never heard of XPG... but I agree, wouldn't be bad for a primary game drive, a local copy of something that's cloud based, or something that's easily downloaded again.

Not surprising that the above is what it's marketed for!

This drive has HMB (Host Memory Buffer) technology. It uses system memory for DRAM cache.

After the 20% coupon this comes out to $86 and change. Sure, the 8200 pro is a nicer drive, but for a lot of uses this'll work for $24 and waiting for another $10 card less.

As long as you're not using this for the OS drive, you should be OK. In another words, storing all your games or a Steam library should be just fine. Having said that, I spotted 2 deals recently on a Crucial MX500 series (1 TB capacity) SSD that was about $10-14 cheaper than this deal. I would trust Crucial over this bullsh*t chinese brand any day of the week. Far better quality and longer warranty.

Seconding this - it's $104 *before* the coupon. That makes it a pretty hot deal, $86 for a 1TB drive with decent-enough performance for most users is a good price.
