I just got a new counter-offer on Greentoe. $3099 on the 85 x900F. Lowest price i've seen and it's being sold via an authorized Sony dealer with the full Sony manufacturer warranty. Seems like an amazing deal so I thought i'd share with others.
If anyone's interested I was comparing models and got new low prices on these as well. All new low prices from what I can tell:
XBR-85X900F - $3099
XBR-75X950G - $2595
XBR-85X950G - $3999

That's a great deal! If I didn't scoop up a 82Q70R for $2649 I'd jump on this right away!

Why have you not listed for 65X950G or 65X900F?

If I'm gonna invest $2500-3000, isn't it best to go with a Epson 5050 and 120" silver ticket since my viewing distance is 17'?

Ive personality never seen projectors to ever match TV quality, they always fail in one thing or another if they have comparable viewing experiences. But there are plenty of pros if your not set on a TV. So maybe you would be better if that's the case for you.

I recently purchased a 77" OLED from Greentoe. Still waiting to receive the tv, but the store it came from was one I'd never heard of personally (I live in CA). It's authorized on LG's website, but frankly I would have never bought from them. Just my two cents. I know Greentoe has been pushed A LOT on SD recently so want to make others aware of this. They also specifically ask you to not name the seller. Interesting concept.

Great deal on all sizes. Got the 75" X950G 2 weeks ago from GT, $2985 incl. tax and ship to Cali. Loving it so far.

How are the viewing angles and contrast on the 75" x950g?

The main thing that put you at ease is it's an authorized dealer do you should rest easy. My Sony came from a dealer (using GT) I'd never heard of either but I checked Sony's list of authorized dealers and it was on there.

The ex-wide angle really does work well.

Actually, better than I expected it would be. I'm used to seeing good blacks and viewing angles from my Samsung 64f8500 and the Sony is as good or better.
