Sad.
Instead of making #2 a better version of #1, they made it way different and most people didn't enjoy it.
So now here they are putting out a switch version of #1 that probably doesn't look much better than the ps3, all to help make the money they thought they would make on #2.

Hopefully they use this money to make a #3 that should've been #2

Thanks for the heads up! Also available for the PS4 at the same price on both sites. PS4/PC is remastered version with 1080P | 60FPS visuals vs 720P | 30FPS on the Switch from what I read.

PS4 (Amazon) - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SR5MD85/
PS4 (Walmart) - https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ni-No-.../818847301

$10? You'll be waiting until the bargain bin in 2027. By then Ni No Kuni 3 and 4 will have been out.

I'd really like my kids to see this game. I wish they could get this to 1080p on switch. Oh well. I will wait until I see a $10 price tag though.

Probably more like $20 in one year or so.

In short... it's like playing an amazing JRPG (if you're into those kinds of games) but in a Studio Ghibli world. The first one (this one) is highly regarded as the best in the franchise. If you are a fan of JRPGs and beautiful worlds/animation then give this a go.

I am not a fan of jrpgs, but maybe I'll give this one a shot. I gotta get around to watching those movies, too.

Still unlikely. Switch games rarely drop value. They're never produced to the point where they're overstock bargain binned like Xbox/PS4 games. Look at original switch titles. Hard to find for under $30 and that was at launch. Sometimes these smaller titles are even harder. Some even go up in value like Cave Story for the 3DS

Valid points. I keep hoping Bayonetta or Xenoblade will drop somewhat, I'd even bite at $30, but it's a risk they may just disappear overnight.

Yeah. Trust me. It's every Nintendo fans dilemma. Haha. I am waiting on those two as well. My guess is when they do drop itll be a scramble and then maybe hard to find after.

I don't think this is necessarily true for all Switch games. In general, Nintendo titles (Mario, Xenoblade, Bayo, etc) don't necessarily drop in price. This is a Bandai Namco game and those have historically dropped in price. For example, Tales of Vesperia (another excellent JRPG game you should play if you haven't) has been in the high $20s or at least low $30s and it's been out for about 6 months? Not the $10 price drop and I won't expect that, but I would expect it to drop some

I'm kind of in the same boat on waiting for this price to drop. Have Dragonquest XI and Pokemon penciled in for this time frame, not to mention Shenmue 3. I'll take the chance that this drops in a year.

I don't think this is necessarily true for third-party titles, even big name third parties.. Hasn't diablo 3 been 50% off already? I'd be surprised if we didn't see this for $20 sometime in 2020.
