Just saw on eBay that "Five Star Buy" has the LG 65" E8 OLED on sale for $1799, with free shipping. Not sure where they charge sales tax, but it doesn't appear that the charge sales tax in NC, fwiw.

No, they are not an "authorized" LG retailer. However, the LG warranty does not specify that the TV must be purchased from an authorized retailer to be valid. I was able to register an E8 that I bought from another "unauthorized" retailer on eBay with no problem.

Link? I searched and this is the lowest price on the E8 (not the C8) that I've ever seen. I bought an E8 (from a different seller) a month ago at $1899 (w/ $100 in eBay Bucks), so it definitely wasn't this price when I bought it...

If you check the lg web page clearly specify May will not cover

https://www.lg.com/us/authorizedd..._retailers

But appears this is an authorized retailer just scroll down and you will see the name in the list

And by 'may not" they mean "Absolutely will unless the serial number has been scratched off"

You can tell by instead of looking at a webpage, reading the actual warranty.

Which doesn't care either way if the dealer is "authorized" at all- it only cares that it's a US model, sold as new, and with a visible serial number.
