If past deals are to be believed, we should have plenty of SDers who own these things: weigh in please!

See my post above... easy install, works as expected, no issues except for the one stated above. Only thing I would double check is that you don't go over your wattage budget. These are rated 150W for LED and 400W for incandescent. My recessed cans added together were 390 so I just made it. They are also a bit bulky in the back so make sure you will have enough room in the box.

I literally just bought these on Saturday, got them with one day shipping and installed them on Sunday. One of the switches came broken (wouldn't switch on and off manually, had to use app or Alexa only) but Amazon gave me a partial refund to purchase a single. Needless to say I'm a little bummed that these are now the same price as the 1 pack and I missed out by buying them a few days early

UPDATE code worked, and I just got the two pack using the partial refund that amazon gave me for the one broken switch in my original order

Got mine yesterday. Works fine manually, but tried everything and can not get it to work with Smart Life, Tuya or Amazon.

Instructions were fairly straightforward, hold it down for 5 seconds until it flashes red real fast and the app automatically finds it

Did you update the firmware? Newer versions of tuya block tuya convert. Unfortunately I'm not aware of another workaround. might need to use the wired method to flash it.

If you check the previous couple of deals for this switch, plenty of us who bought and installed wrote our reviews there. I bought 3 last time, installation took 5 to 10 mins, easy set up with tuya and work with Google home. No disconnect issue, flicker or delay. They are working as they should with the exception of blinking status light that is annoying.

I just tried now and no go for me either. Straight from the box. So they're apparently shipping with updated. Wired method might be a PITA as it looks like you may have to solder straight to the chip. I've not totally taken it apart yet though.

Let us know how it goes trying to pop it open. One YouTube showed him popping open another tuya switch. Hopefully it's just as easy.

You may be referring to this layout when having to solder directly

I've got piles of the Martin Jerry...those are easyish. This looks more like the second scenario...doable but definitely more effort involved.
