MSI Optix MAG341CQ 34" UW-QHD 100Hz FreeSync Curved Gaming LED Monitor $350 after $20 rebate at Microcenter with in store pick up. Not as slick if you have to add shipping, but still probably the best price available. Rebate good thru 7-28.

Great deal for a great monitor. I've had mine for a while and 0 complaints or issues so far. 100% worth it.

Picked one up a couple of months ago. Overclocked to 110Hz the first day, it works great. That reminds me, still waiting on the rebate...

Bought this when first released at MicroCenter. It's a great monitor for the price. However, mine had such annoying crackling and popping sound noises which ruined it for me. Returned it and bit the bullet on the Alienware AW3418DW.

Still waiting on a solid 1440p, Ultrawide, 29"+ that's reasonably priced. Higher refresh rate is a luxury but I'd love that too.

I read about the clicking problem in one of the reviews. Is there a way to fix it?

People underestimate this. Newer VA panels have just as good color as IPS, but the blacks are INKY black.

Nope, and yeah I read up in the forums and whatnot and it seems to be a very common problem. If you wear headphones while on your pc 100% of the time then I dont see it being an issue. But good lord that crackling and popping sound drove me crazy and its actually pretty damn loud. I could still hear it while playing battlefield with my external speakers fairly cranked up. Like I said, those noises was the only thing that made me return the monitor. Such a bummer

The fit and finish isn't very good. I squeezed the edges around the bezel, front to back. Haven't had any creaking noise in about a month...

It's not cracking noises from the physical build or bezels. It's the displays internals that make crackling and popping sounds...literally like rice crispies lmao. This happend to me with both the monitor on AND off. Look this up on the forums regarding this monitor and reviews on microcenter's website.

I've got one of these and luckily for me I've never heard any creaking noises.

I don't need to look anything up, I own one. It hasn't made any noise in at least a month, not since it was new.
