It's 20% off. It's an OK price if you came here actually looking for a deal on a BP monitor. Otherwise, it's not the kind of hot deal you jump on immediately because the price is actually dirt cheap. If it was 80% off, now that would be dirt cheap.

The bar is set way too low these days here at SD for what is considered a hot deal. That's because, unlike the old days when a deal made it to FP based on the actual hotness of the deal, SD now gets paid for putting deals on the FP. So people drink the kool-aid and believe a deal is smoking hot when in reality it's barely lukewarm.

SD has been close to ruined by it's money grubbing owners. First page access is paid for, end of story. It no longer is a community driven deals site and the SlickDeals of 10 years ago are very difficult to find. I used to get some unbelievable deals. Now $5 off a cheap knick knack makes the front page, it's a joke.

The app is completely garbage. Check the reviews first if you plan on using this for bluetooth. You need a subscription to get "enhanced" features.

Glad I bought the nokia wireless BPM for $25 at CVS. I don't know how accurate it is but they have a feature where it tests 3-5 times to get a better reading.

Omron is horrible as a company. I will never buy their products. I purchased the BP786 which had connection issues with Android 7+ and they kept saying a fix is coming, but never came. I bought this to log so I can provide log to my doctor. Horrible Company full of lies.

if you're comparing, note there are different Omron 10 models.
I do see the BP786 is $48.99 at WM now,
the BP785N doesn't have wireless data transfer I believe.

What makes this better than a cheaper model?

Only difference are the "features". If you just want to check BP without the bells and whistles you don't need this.

Upper arm more accurate than wrist. Closer to the heart the more accurate.
