FWIW-
I think TSA at least at one point cared about battery size, and the max allowed carry-on (checking was not allowed) was 100Wh. Which is why I believe we often see them max out their reported capacities at <27000mAh.

one point?
it has always been that way. 100Wh is the limit. if you want to play safe, stay away from even the 26800 ones. those are like 99.16 watt hours (enough juice for electric car to run for a mile at low speed).
by regulation, TSA should also allow blade up to 6 centimeters. i challenge any one of you to bring a 5.9 centimeters blade and argue with TSA to bring it on board.
