This is the normal sale price of this monitor $250 for 240hz, it's been this price for years.

People misunderstand the factory calibration.

ALL monitors are factory calibrated, they have to be.

The ones with Advertised calibration Delta E< 5 or <3 , is just a slightly longer calibration using more measurement patches, but again, this is still a VERY SMALL measurement count.

A longer factory calibration is better than a short one, HOWEVER, it is still not usable for color-critical work out of the box.

This is because the calibration is relative to THEIR tone patch generator, NOT your PC, different drivers, different graphics cards, can cause different color outputs, so in that sense factory calibration is a joke.

Ontop of all of this, color calibrations are only valid for ~500 hours. After that, the panel and backlight would drift beyond the original calibrated values.

Professionals that do color work, calibrate ~ every 2 weeks.

WHEN you buy that factory calibrated monitor, assuming everything goes perfectly, and your PC output matches (it almost certainly won't, but let's assume), Then within 500-1000 hours, you need a new calibration. The original is no longer relevant.

According to this: it's VA panel, not TN panel.

I really can't understand why there still any manufactory would build a nice monitor without VESA mount. Even apple have VEAS support for all of their monitors.
