power delivery, used with usb C to USB c ports. Supposed to charge at a rapid speed. Some electronics like laptops and phones use it to charge "rapidly." PD is not compatible with proprietary charging like quick charge so it will charge at a slower rate if it's not using power delivery. I hope this helps, I am on mobile. Almost pulled the trigger until I realized it was microUSB charging. I don't want to carry a separate cable just to charge this.
