Depends on what you use it for. For normal desktop use, I'd def go with a QHD or 4K IPS panel for that size, and use the OS scaler to adjust the size of what your looking at. I didnt see anything special at all in the list, considering they are refurbs though.

AOC AGON AG271QG looks pretty good .... more than 50% off compared to new.

Anyone with experience buying "factory reconditioned" monitors?

I've bought a few monitor refurbs and it really depends on how much they care. Some Dells were in perfect condition, with original packing still stuck to them. An eMachines monitor had a high-pitched whine for its entire life, until I could give it to someone who couldn't hear it.

I always get my hopes up with things like this only to find that the deals really aren't that good.

Just a personal experience with AOC monitors. I had a brand new one years ago that came in with like 9 dead pixels and was told anything less than certain amount (I forgot what that number was) are considered NORMAL and denied of factory replacement.

I have the AG271QG . Worst purchase ever. Initially came brand new with around 2 or 3 dead pixels which was not too bad, but the menu/power buttons were not very responsive. Required a lot of pressure for buttons to respond. RMA'd it and got another monitor with over 15 dead pixels. Learned that almost every RMA will get issued a refurb monitor. Sent it back like 3 times because they wouldn't acknowledge that there were dead pixels even after all the pictures that I sent. Eventually got one with a few dead pixels, but bad backlight bleed. This is the one I have now, and now after some time, even these buttons are not very responsive. The monitor was back and forth in RMA for around 3 months so I gave up and just kept this monitor. Would not get another AOC monitor ever again.
