Played Dig on the DS. Is Dig2 worth an extra $7 to play or is it more of the same and Dig1 was enough?
I never played Dig 1, but Dig 2 to me is almost the perfect type of this kind of game. I've been told that they improved on 1 literally perfectly. For this price, I would say yes.

Dig games sound perfect for the Switch. Played the first on Vita and loved it. Playing 2 (free on Gamepass) right now. In for both. Thanks!

Dig 2 and Heist were great. I went back and bought Dig 1 last time it was on sale and it was kind of "meh". It wasn't that good but it also wasn't that bad. As I only paid $3 I don't feel that I wasted my money. It doesn't really have that much of a story and the abilities weren't that great. You basically just dig straight down and only come up to sell your loot so that you can buy better stuff in order to dig some more. Repeat until the game ends.

Interesting. It's almost always $10 on 3DS. Might pick up.

Steamworld Dig 2 was a great game. I think I spent 10 hours playing it. Definitely worth $10.

Dig 1 is older and predates the Switch, but is an excellent Metroidvania game... however, if you play Dig 2, it will make Dig 1 feel outdated and out of place. That's just how much of an improvement Dig 2 is on the original.

Both are worth it IMO. I had owned Dig 1 years ago on 3DS and was just blown away by it back then, but Dig 2 I should get a % of sales for how many people I recommend it to!

wish dig2 was the same sale price as last time.

I bought dig 1 back then and its a really good game but not a ton of replayability. im hoping they will do dig2 for $5 sometime. Smilie

I spent at least 50 hours on steamworld heist and didn't come close to completing it. Getting the best score on a level can take awhile, since some levels are so difficult you probably won't want to replay them. You just go through space fighting battle after battle, alongside the occasional boss. I guess its like steampunk xcom, only it's much easier to attack an enemy (various trickshots) and not feel like you need to reset the game. I don't know how this game controls on switch, but it really needs a stylus or a touchscreen.

Yes, the game is tied to your account. You can log in on any switch to get the game, but only play on one switch at a time.

You can make the purchase through the Eshop online and it will automatically download on your switch when it's connected to the internet. ( as long as your switch is linked to your account)
