Cheapest it's been in over a year, according to CCC, and almost the cheapest ever. It's been $8.99-9.50 the past couple of months.

I don't want to knock this deal since I have this brush (it's actually very good), but you can get a complete set of the Chinese versions on eBay for the same price (or less). I detail my car once a season and a couple of these sets have lasted me a few years, with a different size brush for a different application. Thumbs up and hope that helps!

I know what is a goat. I know what is a boar. But I've never heard of a goat boar. What are the bristles made of and why are they superior to synthetic materials?

I think it's a wordplay on "Greatest of All Time". Boar's hair is soft and often used for detailing around tight spots or emblems with less chance of micro-scratching the clear coat. I use it to clean up wax that my machine pushes into crevices that a microfiber towel can't reach. Hope that helps.

So im just curious what the big difference or advantage this brush has over just buying a brush for $1.99 at a hardware store?

The one at the hardware store usually has a steel band that surrounds the brush head which can damage paint if you're not careful. This shape is also useful for lug nuts or engine bay crevices.

Can't you just use a paint brush laying around in the garage?

I thought these were for shaving at first. I'll get one and keep it at work for when we wax the engine, truck, and buses.
