I just googled this head set and it's for $100 at Best buy. I think it's the exact same model.

NVM it's the normal vs ultimate. The only diff I see is the ultimate version has vibrations. $100 for only that seems not worth it.

Anyone have these? Is audio good for gaming and movies?

I have them. A few thoughts:

The sound quality is average; it CAN be improved by spending some time with the equalizer inside Synapse.

The mic is below average, but serviceable.

The lighting on mine stopped working a while back. Not sure if it's a software bug or the lights themselves, but I lean towards bug because they do flicker briefly when coming on.

They are *extremely* comfortable. The band is exceptional, and the ear cups have gel in them that helps to keep them from being too hot. The cups also have a built in channel for glasses.

The haptics. Ohhhh the haptics. This is the reason you buy these. It may seem gimmicky when you read about it, but trust me, it makes a game so much more immersive. Explosions, gunfire, even heavy footsteps (like DVa in her mech) sound amazing. It is also pretty fantastic for movies. The scene in Infinity War when Thor shows up in Wakanda will blow your mind. You DO have to be conservative with this setting though; about 60% is enough, MAYBE 70, but anything beyond that and everything sets it off.

I paid full price for these the week of release (several months ago). The small complaints listed above don't make me regret them at that price, and I'd certainly buy them at THIS price.

PS: The battery life is so-so with Haptics on, but it should easily last through even a long single session.
