As per the discussion in last FP deal, the walnut shell powder causes micro scratches in the skin and backfires for people with acne prone skin.

I needed a cheap 5th s&s for this month. I bought 1 at 1.05$. I intend to use it as a foot scrub after a day at the beach or when I see the need for something more drastic for the feet. Should be ok for occasional use on the feet. Thanks and repped.

Is walnut shell powder an ingredient in all of these st. Ives face washes or just this particular apricot one?

I see it's available from only 3rd party sellers. Is it dead?

I've used the medicated version (salicylic acid) for years with great results. I have very oily skin and large pores. Nothing else I've found is as beneficial. Once or twice a week greatly improves my breakouts. Keep in mind, anything that works well will initially trigger breakouts. They should subside with time, if not then discontinue usage.

I dont believe that. I have sensitive skin, a bit if rosacea and eczema. I'd have all kinds of issues if it caused these micro scratches. I mean, I guess if someone scrubbed like a savage, then you might have problems.

I've used this product for years and never had an issues with "micro scratches". Although, I do not have acne-prone skin.
