In response to fake Amazon cards:

Amazon absolutely mixes their legit stock in the warehouses with potentially fake stock from sellers. You do have a chance of getting a fake card. Be sure to test your card right away. I don't care if it's performing great at first... once the actual 64gbs on the card are used up, you're screwed.

Test your goddamn cards. Right away! Amazon ships fakes!

CCC indicates the price has been dropping but I am expecting further cuts for Prime - not a SD.

At the rate the prices of SD cards are falling, why am I even buying external hard drives to to save photos/videos onto? Why don't I just save them directly onto the SD and buy a SD folder to organize them?

for those who worry about the price dropping on prime day:

1. this item comes with free return;

Citi and Capital One both work perfectly and have price tracking as well. I have the Citi Double Cashback Card and the Capital One Quicksilver.

Citi is going to stop price matching soon.

I hadn't heard about that bit of bad news 😦 Citi has the best program too... I guess this will make the Quicksilver a better value proposition than it is currently.

That's unfortunate, but [at least] purchases made prior to September 22nd are not affected. The same benefits still apply for purchases made before that date.

Isn't 256GB for $36.99 a better deal?
