The % sale is a bit deceptive since this product is no longer being sold (discontinued by manufacturer). It's still a good product but I feel it's probably worth $100 retail at the max, not $280 like it says it was, the product is no longer offered by the manufacturer, although the web page [blackvue.com] for the product is still available just no longer purchasable through them.

If you want a good bang for your buck dash cam, get a Rexing V1/or V1 Pro (there's newer versions as well).

I'm not bashing the deal, it's just not as good of a deal as B&H wants you to think it is.

I voted this deal up because $70 is what I would buy it at if I was going to buy another dash cam.

Blackvue is premium Korean brand. Its well known in dvr community. Aukey is budget Chinese brand.
This model is good but it lacks convenient features such as wifi, gps, built in screen.

Parking mode monitors your parked vehicle and will document when motion or an impact is detected (requires Power Magic Battery Pack or Power Magic Pro, available separately)
3-axis acceleration sensor
External GPS receiver (optional, available separately) adds location and speed data to your videos

Both require add ons for parking monitor and GPS. However, it does use a capacitor. Big + for warm climates

In terms of dashcam brand reputation, Blackvue is far, far, far superior to Aukey and is popular in the $300-500 range. I don't know much about this particular camera though. I'd guess good build quality and few features on a fairly old model.
