Samsung b-die. Bought at Micro Center for $130 x 2 (by price-matching Neweggs previous price). Will have to see if they'll adjust the price, if not I could technically just return and rebuy with new price match.

Anyways, works very well with TR/Ryzen, had issues with Trident Z RGB beforehand.

Would these be any different than this 16GB (2x8) 14-14-14-31 kit by Team Group? Also $120.

I was wondering the same thing. And from what I've seen in the reviews CL16 3600 performs the same as 3200 CL14 at least from what I saw on hardware unboxed review of the new Ryzen processors. So you can extract all the performance from any Ryzen processor with this ram. Awesome kit. still trying to decide if it's worth the extra performance. I've seen 32 gig kits go for 130 but higher cl rating.

That's because 3600 CL16 is Samsung b-die (3200 CL14)
There are some Micron e-die that does 2600 CL16 but profile is more like 16-19-19-41
If you want better performance, use the $50-60 savings towards the better CPU, GPU (assuming you already have nvme or ssd drive)

Team is a better choice cuz it is 14-14-14-31 rather than 14-14-14-34. It can work and pass all tests w/ ryzen 2700 on my platform(asrock tachi) under 1.36v 16-16-16-36 @ 3600mhz. I also have tried 18-18-18-36 @ 3866 w/ i7 6700k, msi x170 xpower MB. However, 3 things need to be mentioned: 1,its not a big difference between 3200 and 3600 for Ryzen 2700. 2, Team is best for dual channel rather than quad channel. 3, I tested team w/ noctua and be quiet dark rock pro 4, no compatibility issues, gskill is unknown.
