DETAILS
Get a one-time $10 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $75+ in one or more transactions online at select U.S. Department Stores by 12/31/2019. See terms for exclusions.

OFFER TERMS
Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid only for online purchases made in US dollars only at the following US Department Stores: Bealls Florida, Belk, Bloomingdale's, Boscov's, Century 21, Dillard's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Stein Mart. Excludes all in-store purchases, purchases made through third party providers, international shipping, and purchases of gift cards. Not valid on purchases made online but picked up in-store or on orders shipped from a store. Excludes Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off 5th, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Bunulu, Kohl's Off/Aisle, Macy's Backstage, and Macy's Wine Cellar. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. The enrolled account must be active, in good standing and not in default to receive the statement credit. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 12/31/2019, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. Merchants are assigned industry codes based on what they primarily sell. Your transaction will not qualify if the merchant's industry code is not eligible. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: GDRG:0001

I remember a time when my Amex would be flooded with great offers like these. They have been slacking lately.

This is the first time (of the offers I loaded) I see this exclusion

GCs are not eligible based on this "Offer valid only for online purchases made in US dollars only at the following US Department Stores: Bealls Florida, Belk, Bloomingdale's, Boscov's, Century 21, Dillard's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Stein Mart. I'd risk trying it.... lots of offers technically exclude GC's ...... that work perfectly fine

i don't mind being the guinea pig.

didn't realize it was online only so i'll have to check the offers to first see the .com sells gc online and second, to make sure it's sold by the .com and not farmed out to a 3rd party or a cashstar. for now i'm going to ignore the amex employees who are pointing out the fine print and i'll report back what i find. Wink

Exactly. The only way GCs won't work is if they are fulfilled by a third party company. If Kohl's ships them, they'll almost certainly be rang up as any other purchase and qualify.
