Is this the Season where they bait sharks with food and decoys and then film their reactions, then analyze the footage as if it's something groundbreaking that they have never seen before? Oh wait...

Actually, I do enjoy watching educational shows about sharks and sea life. Unfortunately, this show has degraded over the years.

For $1.99 in HD, it still may be worth it for hopefully a few decent episodes.

It looks like you also get the bonus episode which is available to watch now. Thanks!

Edit: It says "You own bonus video" but doesn't say anything about owning the season. My purchase was $1.99 and if I remember correctly the bonus vid was $2.99 so that sounds like I did it correctly. My receipt says Items Ordered - Shark Week 2019[Prime Video]. I hope that means it's the entire season.

It's the entire season for $1.99. The bonus video, which looks like a rerun of old footage, is simply what is available now for viewing. The other episodes will air later.

Deal is for season 19 which airs on 7/28. You're pre-ordering it. Once it airs it will get posted into your library

Great deal. I usually save a bunch of these on my DVR, but this way I can watch them other places and don't have to use up any DVR space. And won't have to deal with commercials.

I agree. This is the same channel who decided to do a documentary on mermaids pretending it's real.

I always found it funny when they would try to go the conservation route with the shows, but when that didnt get them enough ratings they went back to the fear mongering of sharks. Discovery has turned to a trash channel anymore

Used to love Shark Week but hate to support their worse shows like the fake killer shark crap that they put out. I'd love to support educational content and learn about sharks but I hate to support garbage TV and miseducation, especially at a time where miseducation is leading to the eradication of so many different species. How much of Shark Week is horror story B.S. and fictionalized mega-sharks vs actual education about marine species?
