Much like the Bonavita, a simple coffee maker that does it right. Heater that delivers water at the right temp and showerhead design for better ground saturation, plus it has pre-infusion option to pre-soak the grounds.
If I did not already own a Bonavita I would probably jump on this.

Is this a reputable brand? Was looking into bonavita too but don't want to end up with a cheap product that I need to replace next year

Looks like a good coffee maker at a good price. Note that there is a $5 shipping fee.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FShu5OCfcF8 is a review of it. It beeps when you start the brew and when it finishes. They didn't care for the shower head as much as other makers, they wanted to see more coverage over the grounds. Overall, good for the price. But they didn't compare it to other machines. Looks like they are really big on the Bonavita, lots of reviews and comparisons on those.

Looks like a Moccamaster's deformed baby Big Grin For 50 bucks it's worth a shot, I'd probably get one if I hadn't just bought a Chemex. Some of the Amazon reviewers complained of QC issues though - many sounded like they were damaged in transit, but one guy complained that his boiler stopped heating properly after a few days so that's something to watch out for.

Looks like a Technivorm Moccamaster knockoff. Seems like a really good price. Thermal carafe is nice too.

Tempting. I've been exclusively using my Aeropress pretty much every morning. I have a Chemex too but rarely ever use it. I was never into coffee up until a couple years ago after buying the Aeropress from an SD deal. I started off buying Starbucks on sale, then trying some Peets and not much else before jumping right into roasting my own beans haha. I've never dealt much with these auto grinders and brewers but I'm sure they save on time. I sort of like the process with the Aeropress and pouring my own (I got the digital Bonavita gooseneck kettle not that long ago). The Chemex process just takes forever compared to Aeropress, and I'm pretty much just making one cup a day anyway, so it feels like a waste of time.

nice marketing... 'pour over' versus 'drip'

I got this at a TJ's when it was on sale about 6 months ago (but with a glass carafe). Overall, love it. Makes a great cup of coffee, looks good. Only issue is the buttons are a little sticky, but may just be my model. $49 is a steal.

I purchased one from amazon a while ago. FWIW, I measured the temperature it brewed coffee to be around 175 degrees or so. The coffee was noticeably cooler compared to other coffee makers. It's possible I ended up getting a defective unit.

My Bonavita would be amazing if only the carafe wasn't garbage for cleaning and emptying. Otherwise I love it.

Yeah, that sounds defective, it's supposed to brew at 200-205F. One of the Amazon reviewers said the same thing, at first the coffee tasted great but soon it started tasting awful and he found it brewing at like 180F.

Was intrigued by a Chemex one at BB&B, but the price verging on $100 for simply a cool looking Glass carafe and pour-over device was a bit high. Considered the $15 plastic pour-over apparatus, but held off.

I saw this on here. Asked my brother-in-law/friend (that's what happens when your friend marries your sister), and he said he already bought it this morning.

Looking forward to tasting it in action.
