I couldn't keep getting teased by this. Going to hang the 43" in my office. Hope it will be easy switching from art mode to HDMI for my security cameras.

I love the 55inch. I bought the white frame with it. The only problem is the cost of the proprietary cable that plugs into the one connect box. I need a longer cable to run through the wall and it's going to cost a fortune.

It appears that q7 is better in terms of price and specs per https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...18/597/666

I am guessing the point of this TV is ruined if I need it to tilt downwards above a fireplace?

I really like the frame idea. The price becomes more resonable lately. I went with a 75" nu8000 but considered and couldnt justify the smaller size vs. The art capability.

I got the soundbar though. Now much reviews out there but simplicity and design for mounting got me.

Yeah... it wouldn't work for me either, because I want my TV to be able to tilt.

FWIW when looking at real estate, I've seen a ton of TV's over the fireplace, and rooms where that's really the only good place for it. However...

I've been temped on this and will probably wait until the new qled comes down next year, however this TV seems pretty cool, I don't understand why more companies don't make something similar like a beautiful OLED as a frame...any way if you're looking at this from a clean design standpoint check out this installation video and completed look.

The ability to play HDR10/HDR10+/HLG content doesn't mean much when the set lacks local dimming and peak brightness is barely over 300nits - you'll be missing out on the main benefits of HDR.

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...frame-2018

The 65" frame isn't necessarily a bad set, but there are better options available in the $1100-1200 price range that are capable of much better HDR performance (some examples: the vizio p quantum 2019 or p series 2018).

Unless you plan to make use of the frame specific features, I would suggest waiting for a deal on a different model.

Yeah, I am not a big fan of it, but I live in a condo where the entire room is set up with a recessed area above the fireplace mantle that basically has to have a TV in it for the room to function. If the TV was flat against the wall you wouldn't even be able to see the bottom due how recessed it is behind the mantle.
