I have 2 of these. They are my very favorite mugs. The lids go in the dishwasher, so super easy.

What are you talking about? You push the button the entire thing lifts out. You either throw it in the dishwasher or hand wash. I own 6 of these and use 2 a day. My hot coffee is still warm 8 hrs later. My cold coffee for the afternoon still has coffee ice cubes in it when I grab it, about 8 hours later.

I regret very much buy more than one in the stainless steel color. Their LIDS are not interchangeable, if you can believe that. But look enough alike that you don't know you have wrong lid until your drink pours down your shirt. The only ones I can find the right lid for are the other colors, bc the button color matches the bottle.

These are a giant pain to keep the lid clean. The snap seal lids are so much easier. These will keep coffee hot for hours though.

I have three of these. They're great. One of the posters is right in that one of the three mugs has a different top than the other two (which are interchangeable). However, if you buy two of these, they should fit each other

No idea what everyone else is talking about. Own like 4 styles of Contigo containers and they are all the same exact screw length and size and can all be switched up with coffee and no spilling.

What am I missing?

I think he is talking about the older generations have different style lids that have a deeper indent on top and are harder to clean.

Thank you, great deal and I had one on my list to buy for a while (waiting for sale). I like the stainless steel one the best because eventually the paint/coloring will chip away on any of the colored ones to expose the stainless steel underneath. This way it will keep it's clean look.

These are easy to clean... takes a few seconds with a sponge, soap, and hot water... or just water. Smilie
