I've been waiting for this deal every since the octane battery pricing mistake a few months ago. Unfortunately out of stock at my store, but thanks for posting it!

not rotary a joke.
It's a small cordless drill, not a bulldog. For the majority of people it makes more sense to own one drill that can do both tasks and take up a lot less room.

what do you expect for $110? It's not a Hilti and it doesn't cost as much.

I used mine to drive 16, 5/16x3 1/2 Concrete Tapcons the other day and it handled it like a champ, the battery overheated, but after a swap it kept on driving.

While reviews on the HD site are strong, many complain of clutch failure at full speed. I bought one regardless (thanks OP!) I'll wait to register it. If the price drops in the next 90 days, I'll repurchase. If not, I'll register the LSA. If the unit is defective, I'll get a corrected one from the LSA...

Any worry of attempting to activate LSA too late? I've heard someone say that it took about a month to get theirs through.

I have 8 or 10 LSA registrations or so. Some have been just prior to the 90 day cutoff - all were OK. You can call customer svc and they will tell you to be patient.... that the registration is being processed. Some have taken 8 weeks or so. Most are less than that. I wouldn't miss the 90 day cutoff though...

Also, the price on the web is back to $159.00. If anyone finds it cheaper than $112 at a store, please post.

Was the online price actually discounted below the standard $159 at one point? Or was this a in-store price only?
About a week ago, I saw about a handful of these kits for $112 before taxes at my local store. I took a glance while at another HD a few days later and didn't see any at that one.

Flappy,
The on-line price was $112 for some period of time and as you and I note, is back to full price. As of Fri, at least 1 store by me still has it marked at $112. I didn't ask for a price scan.

Use BrickSeek to find a store that has inventory. If the price is marked on clearance, it is discounted, probably to $112. If you find it cheaper, please post.

Confirm 4 of these at my Home Depot in Brooklyn priced at $112.

I also had the clutch issue on the first one I bought. The second one was much better.
