You can add a switch and have as many as you want/need.
My router is in basement and would like better service upstairs plus have my tv and xbox in living room wired instead of wireless. Not sure my best route

Put your router upstairs, plug Ethernet cables from router into both Xbox and TV. Boom.

Either would work, powerline adapters would probably be best but the WiFi extenders with a switch should be fine.

Picked up the ax 6000. Hope it doesn't suck. My last router was a dream. Updated the firmware and went straight to crap. Looked online and Netgear aware and doing nothing about it so not giving them anymore money ever. Was trying to decide between this and the Eero. Some of the Eero reviews gave me pause.

Which netgear model do you have?

Get the $15 MOCA adapters. They're rock solid 100M.

IME only buy TP Link routers that have 3rd party firmware. Software is their weak link.

Yes it would, maybe overkill but if you have the money nothing wrong with it and should be good for some time. How close is everything?

Need a range extender for the house. What is the better buy, the RE220 for $18.99 or the EX3700 for $23.99?
