Another Deco M9 deal would be soooo nice.
Yeah I agree. Looks like I will get the eero system at 50% off.

Any good deals on mesh routers (any brand)? This current deal on to link mesh is just not very good, since I don't need an echo dot.

Need range extender. Should I get another router and setup as access point mode or use a range extender?

btw, what's the difference between cheap (< $50) and expensive ( > $80) router ? I don't quite understand and confuse to buy as it seems the cheap router already have the essentials (gigabit, ac, etc)?

and any recommendation on router? Is AC1200 good enough for standard router used for cable internet? Thanks.

Ok router guys. Which one is it worth going with the A10 over the A9? Is there a huge benefit other than throughput?

Yeah I have it and it's pretty decent. Probably not for anything above 120 mbps though

Thanks. Spectrum starts at 200 mbps and AT&T Fiber at 300 mbps, i think with the gigabit ethernet cable, that should be enough, right? I don't need fancy features like VPN, etc as I don't do streaming gaming or netflix, but still not sure the difference between expensive and cheap routers.

Thanks.

Yes it would, maybe overkill but if you have the money nothing wrong with it and should be good for some time. How close is everything?

Wi-Fi Adapter:
AC600 Dual Band USB 2.0 Wi-Fi Adapter (Archer T2U Nano)[amazon.com]- $9.99

Is this a good adapter for my tomahawk b450?
How is the connection in comparison to b450 carbon instead? or any other pci card

Hi -- I have Verizon FiOS internet, TV and phone landline at home. After searching for the term "FiOS" in the customer Q&A section of Amazon's item detail page for the TP-Link Deco M5 three-pack, and finding a fair amount of simple and helpful advice in there on how to hook up the M5 pucks with my FiOS home setup, I took a chance and bought them. I didn't necessarily need the bundled Amazon Echo unit (we use the Google Home speakers/hubs in our house), but I felt that the Prime Day pricing of $150 was a pretty good deal for the three-puck Deco M5 package alone. Should arrive this evening, and I intend to set up in access point mode -- will check back in later with my impressions.
