I just dug through the website, and on paper there is no difference between the "D3 Pro Connected" and the "D3 Connected" (except the non-pro version comes in gray or white, and the pro version has a blue circle on top).

Either way (although I love Neatos and am shopping for a replacement for my XV), the D3s are pretty low end with small batteries and some missing features... bring on the deals on the D5 or D6! (D5 went for $200 once back in ~Feb... those were the days)

Is the D7 on Amazon deals for $529 worth it?

I'd pay a little more to get this over the other budget Robo vacuums that are on sale after seeing the youtube comparison review below.. Great info and it seems like the D3 got the 'no go lines' feature after an update, that used to only be available with their high end models.

I picked up a D4 for $240 last month. What am I missing out on vs D5?

Will this do room mapping with virtual no-go lines?

I got a D3 for this price at Target about a month ago and love it. I tried an Ecobot N79 and a Shark 850 and returned them both after both had issues. I've been running the D3 and it's been problem free. It had an over the air update that added the no-go lines. You have to do a special learning run to enable the no-go lines.

Definitely recommend the D3 is the sub $200 price range for robot vacs.

better comparison of the vacs than what is on the neato site (skip to ~2 min for the differences):

D4 to D5 adds a side brush and better battery life

yes it does. It can only map one area though, so you can't drag it between upstairs and downstairs and expect it to have two maps.

Yes, and as long as you update the software app when it prompts you.
