It has been on the FP for a few hours already.

I almost pulled the trigger but I could not justify buying the QLC SSD.

I'm not familiar with NVM. What's wrong with QLC SSD? Thanks!

Thank you! Almost jumped on it but I'll pass and stick with the TLC one I have.

QLC is probably OK for most people.
I just have a lot of NVMe's already and am picky.
QLC 1TB was on sale for 80 dollars yesterday and I figured the "correct" price for QLC 500GB was about 45-50.
The RAM is quite qood but not Samsung B-die so I value it at around 55 dollars.
Overall this is a very good deal if you are building a system and need these right away but not good enough to stock up; you will see better prices in the next 12 months or so.

So a heads up to those that have the issue I had yesterday with this. Sometimes it won't show the correct combo-discounted price on their summary page, even though the cart and paypal page does. I was instructed to either keep trying or order it and get the refund. I ended up just ordering the combo and got the refund process started the second my invoice came in without any issue with their support.

Totally new to nvme as I'm looking to build my first system since about 2008. Can someone explain to me why the tlc is preferred to qlc? According to the following, it seems like qlc is equal if not superior. https://www.reneelab.com/difference-slc-mlc-tlc.html

Those RAM are Micron E Die. Can hit 3600 easy with a little voltage.
