Target has Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! - Nintendo Switch (Digital) for $35.59.

My store had additional 10% off on all digital downloads, bringing it down to around $32 - YMMV.

Red card holders get additional 5%. Email delivery when buying online.

I'd suggest trying the Pokemon games that were released before the Nintendo 3ds (fire red/leaf green, emerald, platnium, hg/ss, bw, bw2) first if you wanted to start getting into Pokemon. If you play the 3ds/switch games first the older games will feel like a downgrade (or upgrade to me) in comparison.

This game to me would be great if not for the GO aspect of it. I enjoy battling, I feel that's the point. Not timing a ball to throw at a completely healthy Pokémon. Looking forward to Shield and Sword.

Does anyone knows whether this game will work on the Lite Switch model (release date: 9/2019)? If I am not mistaken, some games work on portable mode while some doesn't and I wanna make sure this one does for the Switch Lite.

And yeah I get it. 👎🏽 because this is digital where we have to assume that the license from one account to another account can't be transferred in any shape or form. Not all like it, don't care for those naysayers. Maybe I should just get the physical's and be done with it without worrying about licenses issue.

absolutely will work! you'd be pretty hard pressed to find games that don't work in portable at all. i actually prefer let's go in portable mode.

It may just be nostalgia, but I still go back to the pre-3D era of Pokémon and enjoy the artwork more than the 3D models we have now. I still like the 3D models but the 2D may just be ingrained in my mind at this point.
