Samsung Stainless Steel 4 Piece Kitchen Appliance Package at Costco $2050 Gas or $2100 Electric (membership required)

Costco is offering deep discounts on Samsung appliances right now. Sale prices are lower than ever and there is also 2 promotions for purchasing multiple appliances. Please note that Costco includes delivery, installation, and 2 years warranty on all appliances. Additional 2 years warranty if you pay with the Costco Citi card, and additional 3 years square trade warranty can be purchased for a total of 7 years warranty coverage. I know there are a lot of Samsung haters out there, but you won't get 4 years warranty at this price point anywhere else. The appliances I've linked below are the best bang for your buck, IMO, but you can swap in any other Samsung Appliances and the discounts will still apply.

Samsung 25.5CuFt French Door Refrigerator with Filtered Ice Maker

Samsung 5.8CuFt (gas)/5.9CuFt (electric) Freestanding Range with Convection Cooking in Stainless Steel
Gas
https://www.costco.com/.product.1095872.html
Electric
https://www.costco.com/.product.1237544.html

Samsung 1.8CuFt Over-the-Range Microwave with Multi-sensor Cooking in Stainless Steel
https://www.costco.com/.product.1096198.html

Samsung Top Control Dishwasher with Stormwash in Stainless Steel
https://www.costco.com/.product.1095875.html

Note that since this is not an official Costco "appliance package" you'll have to purchase individual square trade warranties for each appliance according to it's price point. I think it's still an excellent deal for a possible 7 years coverage. If you purchase warranties for the above fridge, range, and dishwasher, add $260 for a total $2310 (gas) and $2360 (electric). The additional warranty for the microwave is $80 which isn't worth it for a $250 appliance, IMO.

Great deal, but when I was looking to replacing my fridge a month ago, everything I read and heard was to stay away from Samsung fridges (even the employees at Lowe's and HD), not sure of their other appliances though.

This looks like a great deal for new appliances. I am leery personally of Samsung but this rivals scratch and dent.

(We got burned by the recalled washing machine thing)

Pretty much everything in this price point is not built to last, which is why everything nowadays only comes with a 1 year warranty unless you spend beaucoup buck$. I've purchased 2 Samsung fridges and they both outlasted the Whilrpool fridge I bought (I have several rental properties). In fact, the Whirlpool is the only one that has failed so far. This is why the extended warranties are such a big deal. Square Trade is super easy to work with and Costco customer service is outstanding. 7 years coverage for an appliance package under $2500 is a pretty great value.

Everything today is shit. I've been a contractor for 20 years and it's really true that they just don't make them like they used to. Everyone has their own horror stories no matter what they brand is. The exception is the really high end stuff like Viking, Jenn-Air, Wolf, etc. I'm not exactly sure why everyone says Samsung is the worst because they're all about the same. Samsung is usually the lowest price point because there's almost always some 10% off deal, so maybe that's why it gets the stigma. Maybe because it's the lowest price, more people buy them resulting in more stories about failures. But in my experience, every brand nowadays is prone to failure. However some models are prone to failure than others. What you need to do is research the particular models you are looking at. It's painstaking, but it's the best way to find a (longer) lasting product. The best tip I can offer for longevity is pick products with the least amount of features. The less features there are, the less there is that can go wrong. The fridge in this post is relatively well-reviewed compared to other Samsung fridges, however for longevity, you'd want to opt for one with no water dispenser and no ice dispenser. OP is also right, though, warranty is a major plus for this deal. Installation and delivery included and considering warranty options, this deal is untouchable.

It's hit or miss with most of them. Even the high end appliances like Thermador or Sub Zero. But Samsung gets universally panned for their appliances.

The gas range is the same price at homedepot and lowes, but costco gives you another year of warranty.

I think you get additional 2 years warranty if you pay with any citi card. You don't have to use/get a costco citi card.

Are you sure you have all the appliances that I linked? I just recreated the cart and I'm seeing $2050 for gas.

$1050 fridge
$650 range
$550 dishwasher
$250 microwave

-$450 discount at checkout
