Any idea if they mismatched black and brown walnut speakers in bundle two like it appears? That would kill the deal for me

These are decent prices for these systems.

The question is do you like the polk sound vs klipsch or Jamo, etc. I decided to listen to polk vs Klipsch at a best buy. To me the Polk sound is mellower. You may like the klipsch or SvS. If you described the room your putting it in and get an audiophile like superrob to comment that would be more helpful. I just saw he made a comment on a klipsch post the other day here.
I would suggest you tell him what you want to do such as watch movies or listen to music or both. Have a good day Dan. Also it never hurts to join audiophile sites and just read the comments. Here [noisylabs.com] is a place to find a lot of audiophile sites.

Sorry but no one will be able to answer that for you. You might want to see if anyone near you carries these Polk's so you can take a listen.

I was really hoping they would put the LSiM towers and center on sale like they did last July, not the Signature series. Here's hoping it still happens. Anyone else waiting for that deal?

You need a subwoofer for movie. It looks like pkg 1 does not have it.

Have you heard for sure it's not happening? If not I guess I just need to move on. I can't pay more than $1050/pr but if that's for sure not happening this summer I'll just grab a deal on some Klipsch RP towers.

I have this package from at least 15 years ago: Polk RM7600. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-EDa...M7600.html

The sub on it PSW650 broke down long time ago and I replaced it with a Klipsch sub that I found on one of the deals here. Before the sub if after when I pair these speakers with any newer receivers the center channel volume is low in many movies making my family turn up the volume to hear the dialog and then get slammed by super loud effects coming out of right and left speakers. The center channel volume is okay when watching over the air TV like a football game. Is getting a new speaker system going to address this issue?

Sounds like a volume leveling issue. Depending on the receiver, you may be able to pull up a menu to turn up your center or turn down your L&R for your movie preset. Decent chance you fix the issue without buying anything.

Thanks for the heads up, although I can't tell you how bummed out that makes me. I've been checking slick deals daily hoping to see that offer pop up again. Really wanted those Mt. Vernon Cherry LSiM 707 towers... just not bad enough to pay $1700/pr :/
