Another "Shut Up and take my money" deal from Adorama. I don't have a "parlor" style guitar, so there's that. I also checked this guitar on the usual music sites, and this deal is legit.

Hi ya, youngblood. Welcome to the most costly deal forum on the planet! Smilie

Obviously, I have no idea what you're experience level is with this site (or ones that were once great in their own right but have long since passed like the Fat wallet forums) so I'll keep the "howdy" as brief and universally applicable as possibly.

SD is a blast, great resource for not only discount/price tools but great to learn about things near and dear to your heart as well as things that you'd never knew existed and now must have and can absolutely save a ton BUT don't forget the old adage "it's not truly a bargain unless you need it"and treat bargains like one should going to Vegas. Remember it's a game and never play with what you can't afford to lose.

I struggle with this stuff to this day so am not speaking from any ivory tower. lol

What deals are you referring to? Adorama specifically? I've been trying to be "good" lately so little out of the loop except for the hifiman sale they had lol

Definitely tempting on this one as I love a good smaller guitar... had my eyes on the Taylor Mini GS but that is 3 times the cost and never on sale...

Does anyone know much about the case that this one comes with? Like is it a basic chipboard case or something a little more sustainable?

I've bought more than few guitars from Adorama, and have only had one problem guitar, which I sent back and was refunded. The deals from them on guitars are pretty good and hard to ignore. I've always been satisfied when dealing with Adorama. YMMV, as some people have stories to tell. But I will continue to throw my money at them.

Thought about it, slept on it, and still bought it. I don't like to buy acoustics without playing them; harder to change the sound then electrics, but I've been wanting a parlor and this is a good price for good materials. Online videos sounds like there a bit of fret buzz, and I'm hoping for that nice parlor midrange without the boxy honk of the Jim Dandy and other cheap parlors, but we'll see what happens. With a case, this will be a nice guitar to throw on the camping bike if nothing else.

That can be fixed pretty easily by making sure the strings are sitting at the appropriate height and also buzzing the frets down a bit if needed. Any music store can do that for you for extremely cheap
