So it's $5 off?
For the super frugal, u can sign up for boomerang for $2.50 for 3 months and binge Scooby and a lot of other old school cartoon series.

If you have a computer or a Mac you can just connect it to your tv using an HDMI cable while playing the tv show through iTunes

I've subscribed to the Boomerang app for the past two years and it is great. Only $39.99 a year so only a little over $3 a month for a ton of classic cartoons like Scooby Doo, Flintstones, Jetsons, etc. Of course you don't own them like this deal but worth a look for Scooby Doo fans.

I have the old dvd box set. I'm wondering if the HD upgrade is that substantial? I guess it's convenient to not swap discs, but still.

What about the one where the old man disguised himself as a monster to scare off new development??

If you have Amazon Prime you can subscribe to Boomerang for 3 months for $2.50. For some reason they aren't offering this on their own website. I'm sure other services like Hulu might have the same promotion.
