Bought the Pixel 3 when they had the $599 promotion at the beginning of the month as I needed a new device. Spoke with customer service over the phone and they issued a $100 Fi credit without any issues. If anyone else is within the 15 day return window (from date of delivery), they should honor this price.

**FYI, the screen on these devices is apparently more prone to micro-scratches which are not seen unless screen off/under light source and are not felt. This is due to the version of Gorilla Glass prioritizing shatter protection. I never use a screen protector, but you may want to consider it if you buy a Pixel 3 variant.

No. Google has the play store, Google store, and google fi store. They all have their own credit. Your credit is to the Google store. It is dumb and complicated

You don't lose your GV number. When you cancel the service they allow you to Port the number back to Voice. I have done it multiple times for various Fi deals.

Im guessing you dont have to STAY with Fi for very long....

I would hate to loose my GV number, though. Maybe start another account and get one just to use for the deal.

Canceled my amazon order, placed a new one with Fi.

They have the 128 for $599 which was the dealbreaker.

Could a friend who has fi buy it, activate it for a day on their account, then switch back to their phone and give me the new one? Or would that not count as having it activated.

you dont have to keep it on long. I got in on the 128GB deal back in april got the 3XL for 499. kept the service active for 10 days then put it on hold - just cancelled it a few weeks ago completely with no claw back .

I don't see any place to enter the promo code in the checkout with Fi Store.
