Their new Old Bay is fantastic. The strips, anyway. I'm not the biggest fan of their Steak Fries. It is my new favorite (for now at least). They also just relaunched their Teriyaki flavor. Haven't tried it yet. It's my favorite brand, so I suspect it will be.

I bought 1 pound last time it was on sale. Jerky wasn't that great. Mold develop in the bag in about 2 weeks. Granted the instruction did say to eat it in 1 week.

I would suggest you buy a sampler pack first to try out the flavor.

I have to say this is the worst jerky I've ever tried. it tasted like cardboard with spices dumped on it. And one of the flavors was Old Bay. I complained and got my money back.

Wow. I am sorry to hear that! That hasn't been my experience at all. Oh well, to each his own. At least you got a refund!

I got the old Bay and Korean BBQ. I don't recommend either of them. Flavor was bland and meat was tough.

I got the exact same flavors. No recommendation from me also.

Yeah. I tried their Korean BBQ when it came out some time ago. Wasn't my favorite. I usually stick with Fiery BBQ and Black Pepper & Garlic prior to trying old bay. But maybe my taste buds are out of whack given others have had such a different experience with it.

That's interesting. Everyone seams to feel the same about it. I guess they will figure out soon enough that the Korean BBQ isn't that good and that the Old Bay is either inconsistent or people have wildly different experiences with it for some other reason. So stay away from those 2 flavors for sure.

I'll give it a shot - going with Original and Sriracha (I love Sriracha anything, really).

I tried Perky Jerky a while ago. Wow, now THAT stuff is terrible. The flavor was fine but the texture was so tender it made me nauseous.

It's a matter of personal preference, I know, but I like tough jerky. Perky Jerky melted in my mouth like a bouillon cube. I still have PTSD when I remember it... *shiver*

I hate mushy jerky. It is usually filled w/ sugar.

For those who enjoy the jerky, you can add "Fatty" to the comments section to get some extra moist and fattier jerky (If that's your jam). I like the fatty black pepper and garlic as well as the traditional original.

Not fatty original? Never tried it so it's tempting.

I have to agree with the others. I bought this the last time it was posted and I did not think it was anything special. Just barely average jerky. Definitely not worth the price, even on sale.
