I bet the WD40 model is slippery on the ears

It depends on how much want to pay for an incremental/imperceptible upgrade in sound quality. It's no different than paying 60 to 80k for a car when a new almost as good one can be had for $35k. It's no different than paying $3000-$5000 for a TV when the same size and very good quality can be had for under $2000. The differences in quality between the more expensive car/tv are no different than differences between these more expensive and some very good earbuds around $200-$250. To each their own.... I spent more buying some movies I liked in 4k vs buying the regular blu ray or the dvd of them. I seldom spend more than $12 for a shirt and less than $15 for pants. I mostly buy them at Sam's and Costco or the clearance section at Macys/Kohls but I know many people buy them at their regular prices which are $50 to $100 that in my opinion is insane. No need to get angry about it you clearly don't value them at this price.

Not as good as NC headphones and not as comfortable. So I'd recommend NC headphones if you travel often. But the sound quality of these guys is way better. And good for regular commute other than driving.

WD60 is not well received, for 1G. Not even convincing at $450
