Greentoe is accepting offers at $2099 for the LG C9PUA 65" OLED TV from an authorized dealer and it includes free shipping. Tax may be required in certain states.

This is better than the $2099 deal from Greentoe that I jumped on last week since it's the PUA model instead of AUA (PUA is WiSA-ready). It's also better than the eBay deal since Greentoe uses an authorized dealer. I just got the TV yesterday and I'm blown away by the difference compared to my 2016 Samsung KS8500.

Good deal.
For those considering C8, here's what the C9 has over the C8:

HDMI 2.1 - four full 48Gbps ports
4k@120Hz (2160p@120Hz supported only after the mid-2019 firmware update)
1440p resolution support (gamers only or for people who use tv as a monitor)
VRR with 40Hz-120Hz range (gamers only)
eARC adds support for bitstreaming HD audio (Dolby TrueHD, TrueHD+Atmos, DTS-HD HR, DTS-HD MA & DTS:X
HDCP 2.3 supported only after the mid-2019 firmware update
ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) (gamers only)
Variable Analog Audio Out (3.5mm headphone jack)
improved color volume
expanded calibration options
improved temporary image retention
screen is less darkened for news channels that have icons, banners, etc. (less aggressive ABL)
significantly improved input lag for many resolutions/refresh rates (under 7ms at 120Hz, gamers only)
metal stand instead of plastic, larger footprint, more stable
improved WebOS (version 4.5, runs smoother, plus a few more options)
Google Assistant support
Amazon Alexa support (only after May 2019 03.60.02 firmware update)
Apple AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit support (only after the mid-2019 firmware update)
Connect/control various Internet of Things devices
improved motion handling
improved black crush
possibly better at avoiding burn-in, time will tell (less relevant for non-gamers and non-news watchers)

This is not worth it compared to the C8. I'd save a few hundred bucks and go with the C8.
what about all the recent talk in the recent deals about the c9 being "future proof" ??

Yeah, would like to know why C8 is still a good buy over the upgraded c9 (let's ignore price for now)

The C8 would be saving $600 over the C9 or the C9 is only a $600 upgrade from the C8. It's a matter of how you look at it. Budget and importance of future-proofing is different for everyone. I don't think you can go wrong either way. I love my C9!

OP quit making this deal extra tempting for me! I also have a Samsung KS8500 and I've been convincing myself that the C9 can't be that big of an upgrade.

If you are planning to keep your TV for more than 3 years then C9 is a better choice with HDMI 2.1 else C8 is a better choice

Man I'm so tempted. How much lower can we anticipate this reaching during the holidays? Definitely want to upgrade to 4k this year, especially with HDMI 2.1. i'll figure out the sound situation later...
