It looks as if the doors open in opposite directions as to transfer laundry side to side. I can't find it in the specs, but it does say the doors are not reversible. My sink is on the wrong side for these to work smoothly for the door configuration as the washer would go on the left with the dryer on the right I presume. Also if this is the case, stacking these units near a corner would cause one of the machines to have limited room. Am I correct and could anybody give any insight about this. I love the units but sadly if my speculations are correct than I would have to move my drain sink to the other side of the machines as it would take a 5' drain hose to reach across. If I wanted to stack them then It would be a pain with opposite swinging doors?

Lowe's is $989 a piece, Sears outlet is $761 a unit but not readily available. Costco citi card is worth it, so it's a decent deal but not a must buy if it's not what you're looking for exactly.

The Wirecutter ranks these ones or a very similar models from LG the best washer and dryer.

I got the similar LG with the top-loading washer (I hate front-loading but ymmv) because it was highly reviewed on Consumer Reports and was at the same price as these earlier this year. I would guess, but do not know, that these rank similarly high in the front-loading class.

Worth noting that Costco includes haul away and the accessories you need for basic hook-up as part of their included service (new supply lines, vent tube, etc) at no extra fee, plus they extend the warranty to two years (or four if you buy with the right Costco credit card). At certain other stores you can expect to add around $180 to the base price for the accessories and haul away, and no extended warranty, so factor that in when comparing price with other stores.

This site is new to me but on inspection looks maybe somewhat legit. They claim and state results of multiple tests such as a specific grass stain getting removed and having tested some of the fancy bells and whistles features. They are affiliated with USA Today and may get a commission if you follow the links in reviews but also claim that neither affect their reviews or decision making when it comes to ranking.

Dryer door is reversible. But you want the washer on the left.

I just got a 3900 set delivered. Costco had the best price by far, and even better when combined with free delivery, the Costco extra year of warranty, the extra two years from my Costco Citi card, and the far cheaper option for the Square Trade extended versus what Home Depot, Best Buy, etc. will try and sell you.

I will say I was disappointed with delivery. We had an issue with the delivery guy upholding the company's policy (said he doesn't care what the company read ahead says, he won't move our existing appliance down one floor). There is no customer service number for the Innovel Solutions company, so I call Costco customer service.

Costco provided a very un-Costco response saying it is basically not their problem what the delivery people do. I said I was surprised that they would be OK with a company they are closely associated with having bad customer service, and the CSR was just like "yeah, we aren't going to get involved".

They did give me a number for Innovel Solutions, and based on his reaction, the guy on the phone had heard this BS plenty of times before and was immediately ready to get on the phone with the delivery guy. After some arguing between the two, the delivery guys upheld their company policy and moved the appliance.

In the end, I got what I wanted and what the company offered, but was disappointed that Costco would be so passive in trying to make sure one of their members was happy with a purchase.

You'd be amazed what an offer of an extra $20 tip will do. I had delivery folks not only move old appliances down a floor, but also install a stacking kit I'd purchased and of course do the hookups. A little carrot goes a long way and easier than a big stick....
