Can't get more details since the site is down but everywhere I'm seeing online lists this model as 8gb DDR4 not 16. Maybe you can mod some specs before you buy but can't tell yet

Edit: oh duh, the pasted part of the deal description starts off with "my build" so I'm guessing you can choose some specs before you buy

Correct you can customize and still get the $300 off. I was trying to get the base price without customization but I can't get it since the site is down. I believe it's roughly $600 without RAM upgrade.

Isn't that about the normal price for these specs?

Not for this one in particular, as far as I know. Every time I spec'd this one out in the past it's been around $950.

Since the Lenovo site is down, more specs here: https://www.laptopmag.com/reviews...30-13-inch

Of note: no trackpoint, 2.7 lbs weight.
